Review on Coleman Cable 09019 W-Splitter: Efficient 1-to-3 Outlet Extending Adapter - 2-Foot by Richard Counts

I bought it in 2014. Worked great but now I'm noticing sparking and loud noise when plugged into my boat charger AND my boat chargers aren't working. The black ends of this Y-cable are defective and do not work. I had to switch to 2 separate high quality cable ends and everything works great. I ask if there is a guarantee for this product? Can I replace 3 outlets with a higher quality 120 volt outlet to improve connectivity?
