I have ordered two pairs of these boots in different sizes and colors and the first thing you notice when you open them is the SMELL. I've seen other reviewers mention that plastic stinks, but usually the smell of plastic doesn't bother me (reminds me of happy childhood summers playing with swimmers in the pool), it's not that plastic smell. it smells like a cross between weed and skunk and is very strong. These boots are my daughter's birthday present so I hid them in the closet which was a mistake because my whole room smells like a skunk smoking a joint in there. within a few days. Aside from being cute, the sequins are very pretty and the lights on both pairs are bright and eye-catching. I've bought wellies from other brands in the past that seemed a little more durable and quality, but these will do. Every little sparkling girl will love them.
