I have a lot of Sandisk Micro SD cards to use in my drone, GoPro, etc. I purchased these specifically as the description of the DVR I purchased (Vantrue N2 Pro ) states that Sandisk cards do not work properly and that the Vantrue card is recommended. I bought both, plugged the Vantrue card into the dash cam and immediately got an SD card error telling me to format. No problem. Go to format the card and got another error message saying the card could not be formatted and I should use a Class 10 card which is a Vantrue SD card. I try a few more times but to no avail, so I finally say "To hell with everything." I grab a Vantrue card and try one of my Sandisk cards. I go to remove the card and see that the area of the dash cam near the SD card is quite warm. I take out the card and immediately drop it on the floor as it felt incredibly hot. If you were to pinch the card between two fingers I have no doubt it would result in a minor burn. So anyway. I try one of my Sandisk cards, dropping the ones that shouldn't work and seeing that they work fine. Save money on that junk and buy a real quality card from Sandisk, Lexar or Samsung.
