Fit is definitely true to size, I'm usually tall and these fit the same as the big ones. If you have a pear shaped figure, the top layer may bunch up on you and gather/pull at your hips. I'm an Apple character - a mom who's 165 pounds, 5-6 inches, so they fit great with a little extra leg room on my character; Cheeks completely cover me. Cute, comfortable and fits well.
