I bought this in white to use as a first communion dress. My daughter is medium height and fits true to size. She has had no complaints about the tip being itchy or uncomfortable. It was very pretty and I think this is my favorite of the four girls dresses. Be aware that tulle petticoat fabric is very thin and cheap - no hem, just a raw edge. I had to make her some dungarees to wear underneath so this dress could be worn in public. With a dark color this might not be a problem, but certainly with white.
