Review on πŸ”Š Renewed JBL GO3 Portable Waterproof Wireless Speaker in Black - Enhanced for SEO by Rob Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I'd rather Clip 4 than Go 3

Battery life is poor compared to Clip 3 and Clip 4. 10 hours on 5 you can't keep up. The sound may be better than the Clip 3, but for a few bucks you can get the Clip 4, which has better bass. The only reason I went with the Go 3 is that the Clip 3 isn't as strong. Eventually it will come loose and the pen will come out without doing its intended job. With the go 3 I hoped to get rid of the strap problem and bought a replacement carabiner from the store. Thing is, I like to carry the speaker on the front belt loop of my jeans. Clip models are really nice in this area. However, using an additional carabiner makes it a little long and cumbersome even with the smaller carabiner. I was skeptical of how well the Clip 4 handles clip durability. I was surprised because they actually took note of the problem with clip 3 and made it so that the speaker self-covers the protruding contact area on clip 4. As my doubts were assuaged with Clip 4, I would suggest buying Clip 4 out of 3 instead. That being said, the Go 3's rubber side glides easily over the surface, while the array of clips hold onto the table very well.

Pros
  • The JBL Go 3 is IP67 water and dust resistant, so you can take the speaker anywhere.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
