I monogrammed the gym bag especially as a Christmas present. I really liked the ease of use of these letters: nothing is cut or glued and is very effective. However, adhesion to polyester fabric is not so good even when using an iron at high temperature. It took some time for the letters to peel off the plastic backing. I have two tips: 1. If you are working with fabric that has a slight angle, the letters may wrinkle. Try to make the surface as flat as possible to get the best effect. I used a kitchen pot holder under the pocket where I put my letters.2. Plan your sequence of letters before committing.
