Some design issues

I'm no razor specialist, but I immediately noticed some issues with the design of this razor. The biggest problem is that the blade doesn't match the handle. The pin around which the blade rotates is not perfectly perpendicular to the handle/blade and causes the blade to rotate at an angle; As a result, it will not fit snugly in the slot in the handle. The very end of the blade hits one of the scales and the blade becomes blunt. This also means that when the blade is carefully inserted into the slot, it will press against the inner wall of the slot and deform over time. The next problem, compounding the first, is that the blade lacks lateral stabilizers. Of course I knew that when I ordered it based on the picture. But a blade without anti-roll bars will warp more easily, especially when subjected to lateral pressure in the closed position (like this). In addition, the quality of the blade is fine. The first shave was okay, but not great. It will probably take some time before it's really usable to refine it. Subsequent edit: I was able to fix the poor grip angle. The inside of the handle was very uneven and had rough tool marks. There was a bulge next to the pin that pushed the blade aside. I used a dremel with a fine sanding wheel to smooth the inside surfaces of the handle. Now the blade closes properly without hitting the scales. I didn't want to start improving it until this issue was fixed because that would be pointless.
