Most fruit bowls of a similar size aren't that deep, so they don't hold a lot of fruit. It is not very wide, but because of its depth it contains a wide variety of fruits. It goes great with any style and allows the fruit to breathe without damaging the whole fruit. I bought one just for fruit and one just for potatoes. They look much higher quality and more expensive than they were. They were goodbye and would definitely recommend.
