Got this on my rimless 5 gallon. I really like the shade of this lamp. Pure white, not too cold and not too warm. The body could have been stronger. The brackets that support the lantern do not have a locking mechanism. If you don't add a drop of superglue, they will gradually slip and come loose. I'm not a big fan of the night mode but I use it as my betta seems to appreciate it. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and helped me not go broke setting up this tank. I currently only have a few Anubias (low light plant), can't tell how well this would work in a heavily planted tank.
