This lantern is tiny but very bright. We have recently had some power outages and had to rely on candles as well as another battery operated lantern that we have so I thought this would be a great addition for future power outages, or simply to use in the backyard during warm weather when we have fires and need a bit more light. The lantern is simple to use, only has one knob that turns it on and adjust the level of light up and down. On low it's got some ambient light but when you turn it up all the way it's so bright that it hurts your eyes to even look at the LED bulb. The pictures show low and high, the last picture was taken inside a pitch-black closet. The lantern is plastic and doesn't seem very heavy duty but it is super lightweight. Works great too.
