It worked exactly as it should.
I didn't charge my laptop in time because I didn't care. I just needed to know it would happen within a reasonable amount of time, and it did. I bought a refurbished laptop and you can never be sure how it will work. The laptop accepted charging without a quibble, charged up with energy, and was good to go. So I'm happy. The adapter worked as expected and didn't cause any interference along the way.
