Bought for my 10 year old niece for her birthday. This is the perfect gift for a kid who loves unicorns and a picky girl 😃 She loved it at first sight and by her bedside. Use it while watching TV or reading. She said she feels so comfortable doing this and she feels like a mermaid 😍 So here are some details about this mermaid blanket. The purple color is quite matte and not bright, which is what I expected, but she liked it. It's loosely knitted with rib knit on the fingers and a bit of fancy knit on the body making it look classy and the cute double ruffles at the top add to the cuteness 😊. The length is quite long, mine is 4ft and also my niece has a lot of space when wearing it but she loves it. If you are looking for a smaller baby this might be a bit big I have to say. I love the detailed ruffles on the TOP which give it a trendy look. The body had a slotted hole on one side and was then attached (seen in my viedo) so kids could easily jump in. The toes also have a hole on one side which I assume your feet can get into the toes but still appear to be open. All in all a great buy for the price. Happy baby - happy home 😊 Go friends and buy it if all the details here fit your priorities. And, oh yes, the cute little mermaid necklace is a plush. I wouldn't say it's high quality. This is actually a very boring silver chain. At first I thought it was dirty, but then I realized it was. But you know it's enough for a few days for your child to flaunt it and feel like a real mermaid in a cozy blanket and necklace combo. Have fun shopping.
