This is a beautiful makeup mirror. I've wanted to buy one for a long time, but just couldn't decide which one. I chose it because it seemed like a good deal for the money. I was initially worried it wouldn't be high enough, but it is. When I'm sitting, I can easily see my whole face, leaving enough space. I really didn't want a huge mirror, at first I was afraid it would break in transit. This smaller mirror was packaged very well and there were no stains on it. I use warm light on bright. There are three settings and you can control the brightness. The touch buttons are good too, nothing to turn on, just touch and go. It comes with a standard two-pin plug. My dressing table is small and I have a lot of stuff on it, the smaller base gives space on both sides which you don't get with a large mirror. I used to use two lamps on each side of a large mirror and they took up space. The lighting from these lamps was adequate, but I wanted to try a Hollywood makeup mirror. For reference, I'm 62 years old, I've been wearing makeup every day for 47-48 years. Good lighting is essential. It was fully assembled. Just unpack and plug in, don't assemble anything! The delivery was fast! I got it in 5 days.
