I received the long matte black coffin nails and they were LONG, almost as long as acrylic before the tech cut them off. This was my first non-Walmart set so can't comment on the quality, but the texture feels like soft plastic. Despite the softness, they did not knock or ring. If liquid glue comes in contact with the matte finish it will leave a shiny stain that I was unable to remove, but a more experienced craftsman probably won't have this problem. They're pretty narrow. I have very wide nail beds so I didn't expect every size to fit me, but the smallest nails were almost child size. The widest still didn't cover my entire thumbnail, but a bit of skillful buffing made it a lot less noticeable. Glue is garbage. It's not sticky at all and adds loads of height to the nails. Don't try to use it on anything bigger than your fingernails - then take it off and use a 99 cent bottle of nail glue. In general, however, they are quite affordable. Once in place, they are beautiful and actually look surprisingly real.
