2 pin power cord will not cut unless traveling outside of North America. The two-pin power cord plug does not remain in the power supply. And since the cord is short every time I tug on the cord (moving the laptop around the dining table), it either comes loose or disconnects, and I don't treat it like a power block under the table. So I think I'm charging, but actually my laptop is draining the battery. Please note that the power cable is too short and not very stable in the power supply. It works too, but I will order a new one with 3 prongs.
