This baby monitor gets the job done at an affordable price. We use it as a second monitor at my parents house and it does exactly what I expected it to do. However, it's a distant second behind our main monitor (it's the Summer Infant Panorama; exact model unknown). The screen on this one is ridiculously small in comparison, but it delivers crisp picture quality and I can see enough to know if my daughter is sleeping or not. The biggest problem - and the reason it doesn't get five stars - is that it doesn't pan nearly as much as I expected. This made the placement much more difficult than I had hoped. We had to put it in a certain size box for it to work, and even there it's not perfect. I'm not sure why they restricted panning so much, but that's the only thing holding it back (well, that and the relatively small screen size). For the price, however, it's good value if you can position it however you want. It won't replace our main monitor, but as a backup it's fine. Edit: It doesn't tilt or pan at all. I mistakenly thought I was panning/tilting when zooming in, but I just panned over a static image but zoomed in. I apologize if I misled anyone; that was totally unintentional!
