I am happy with the counter mats. They have a nice feel - - soft and flexible, and fit exactly from the back to the front of my countertop. I put one next to my stove and the other next to the kitchen sink - - areas most used for cooking prep and cleanup. They don't slide around; they provide cushioning and protect the marble surface without being too thick. They don't detract from the overall appearance of the counters and I wipe them just as I would the counter. I can relax when working on the marble now. A good value, I recommend these mats, as I see they could be useful in many ways.
