Review on Versatile Beautify Beauties Hair Spray Bottle – Ultra Fine Continuous Water Mister for Hair, Cleaning, Plants, Misting & Skin Care (5 oz) by Denise Rose

This bottle emits a continuous fine mist which is obviously the main reason for buying it so I think it gets a star for that. However, there are 2 problems with the bottle. 1: The body is not just a regular plastic bottle, but there is a soft plastic bag inside like in one of those microwave baby bottles (I don't know how else to describe it, I hope the photo shows what I mean) ). I understand that this is to keep the pressure in the atomizer? As such, it doesn't hold as much volume as it could and needs to be refilled more frequently. But more importantly, problem 2: I only used filtered water in these bottles. (I use one to spray tropical plants and the other as a clipper, so it's important to keep the water as clean as possible.) However, after about 2 uses, BOTH bottles started smelling strongly of mold. I haven't seen any signs of this, although maybe some drops have seeped into the part of the bottle where the sachet is? Worse, the mist that comes out smells like mold too! I shudder to think what invisible nasty spores or whatever got thrown into the air and onto my plants. So I emptied the bottles immediately after each use and air dried them. I tried spraying a small amount of unscented dish soap and water down the spout. I soaked both parts in a white vinegar solution overnight. Nothing worked. I have two useless smelly bottles that I think are going straight to the trash as that stupid non-removable inner liner is not recyclable. What a disappointment and what a waste of plastic.
