I call such multipurpose products "futon products" (or "spanking products"), that is, products that perform the functions of two or more products at once, but only at the expense of losing the Ability to perform one of its functions particularly well. Most people who take personal care seriously know to avoid 2-in-1 shampoo + conditioner, but surprisingly few can resist combing through antiperspirant and deodorant. I'm here to tell you to take the plunge! I've used many different AP/D sticks over the years and none of them could compare to a good old fashioned antiperspirant, not to mention I now have so many deodorant options I buy them separately! Antiperspirant is a godsend. Just dress it up for the night and throw on an old t-shirt or something you won't mind little aluminum stains on. They appear as white streaks on dark clothing and have the familiar yellowing effect on white clothing. So I find medium gray tones the best for masking. And even if stains weren't a problem, I usually sleep face down and arms up, and I don't like the idea of moving things from my armpits to the pillow and then to my face. That's income! I would also like to note that I have sensitive skin but this stick doesn't bother me at all. I'll admit that I tried the next level first, the stronger one which is more rolling than hard and THAT was an itchy and sometimes nasty nightmare haha. This one is much softer and I haven't noticed an increase in sweating since then, so I guess you just need to move on to the next level if you've tried this one and it doesn't work for you. Finally, I love the fact that it lasts a while! Not only do I mean that it gives you all-day protection, but if you use it consistently over a period of time, you have the freedom to forget about it on a random night and it won't go away the next. Day. (Or you know, if you put off buying until it's completely gone, you'll have to go without it for a day or two while you wait for your Revain pack to arrive.)
