I've wanted to try Tatcha for a long time. It's a skincare line that's been talked about a lot over the past few years, and I wanted to know why. These are my first Tatcha products, cleansing oil and moisturizing water cream. And I understand why they have a cult. Cleansing Oil: Similar to liquid silk. It is excellent at dissolving makeup and daytime clutter. Apply to dry hands and massage into dry face. Wash off with warm water. I was afraid that after rinsing there would be traces or a film, but there are none. I could barely tell I was using it after rinsing, which I'm doing well since I've got a few more steps in my routine - my skin didn't soften but didn't feel tight and dry either. He did his job and escaped. It literally melted my makeup instantly which is so awesome. My makeup isn't waterproof so I don't know if that would make a difference. Moisturizer: Smells great. It's thin and refreshingly light. This is a light moisturizer that I use morning and night. Absorbs quickly as if it doesn't exist. The packaging is clearly beautiful and eye-catching. And the product's formulas are inspired by modern-day geishas. Since I am happy with these two I will try their two week kits and move on. The rice polish looks amazing 🙃Update: I ended up trying Tatcha's 2 week kit. I liked it very much. eye cream? Wonderful. I'm still using it and about to order a full size jar. And I've found that I like another cream even more than this one. Rice polish is great, if you have or are given it, use a kabuki brush in your hand to mix and apply - it makes the process easier. Tatcha is a great brand in every way.
