I really like the GPS powered product concept. I've been using an invisible fence for several years and have encountered a few problems: broken fence, dead batteries, lost collars, dogs just running onto the fence, and problems with the fence's position. What I like about this product is that you can go to a central starting point and set the perimeter to a radius of my choosing. I have 50 acres of land and I let my dogs roam everywhere. The issues I had with this product was that the batteries had a very short lifespan of 8 hours or less. The batteries are rechargeable, but the collar must be reprogrammed after each charge. This means I was forced to go back to the center of my plot, reset position, radius, and impact force. I will say that the company really wanted to work with me. They gave me a full refund and promised to keep working on the issues I encountered.
