We love our Instant Vortex Air Fryer, but cleaning the grill pan and bulky basket, especially the grease and crumbs, is very difficult. who fail. Since we have this silicone basket, we use the hot air fryer even more often. PROS: It's perfect for potatoes, carrots, meatballs, boiled eggs (!), breaded foods like zucchini fries, and butterfly shrimp. and much easier to clean! It can be washed in the dishwasher, but it only takes a few seconds to run warm water and use mild detergent with a rag. Between batches, we simply wipe the grease off with a kitchen towel or paper towel and shake off the crumbs. The thickness has enough rigidity to pour fat into a jar. CONS: The only catch is that it's round and the frying basket is square with rounded corners. So we could make more potato chips, taquitos, and chicken wings without them.
