Product works as expected for my laptop. The only thing that really bothers me is that it caught fire a couple of times when plugged into an outlet. Let's see if this becomes a long-term problem. As for the charger itself, the build quality seems decent. But I disagree with the previous review that says it's better quality than the OEM charger (unless their "original" was the original). Mine had a heavy-duty cord from the outlet to the power supply, and a fairly strong cord from the power supply to the laptop, which after years of coiling and twisting eventually damaged the internal wiring enough to interfere with the smooth flow of power. The cord on this unit doesn't appear to be as durable as the OEM one, so we'll have to see how long it lasts. I will let you know if anything changes. UPDATE June 18, 2017: Well, the cable won't recharge the laptop if you can't get it in the perfect position. I had concerns about the durability of the wires surviving the repeated folding/unfolding that comes with carrying a laptop. It might be fine and take longer for those who don't move much, but for those who come and go daily it won't last long without extra care.
