When I got what ended up being a "big chop” at a salon, they used the infamous Dyson hairdryer that I fell in love with. However, whenever I looked up the price.I was taken aback. So I proceeded to try & find a reasonable alternative until I feel comfortable enough to splurge on a big hair purchase like that. I found this & based on the reviews, I told my wife that this was the one I wanted for Christmas. So she got it & gave it to me as an early Christmas gift. The first pic is my hair the day before. The second is the process of drying. And the bottom two are the end results. My hair is very thick & typically takes me FOREVER to dry. Overall, it took me about 20-25 mins with this dryer & that was on warm. As with most dryers, it has an off, low & high setting. It also has a cool, warm & hot setting. I LOVE that the "cold/cool” setting doesn’t require you to hold a button.you just switch to it like you do all the other options. Oh yeah, if you have thick hair, the diffuser part itself holds a decent amount of hair and I feel like it’s very sturdy. As far as size, I’m actually traveling right now and brought it with me to my family’s & it’s a perfect lightweight dryer! I truly hope that this is able to withstand the passage of time, but we’ll see. So far, so good!
