Great science toy for learning and learning
My kids (5 and 7 years old) love this set! He came with plastic balls, but they already worked with glass balls. They enjoy watching how different types of balls react as they run. And they even work well together to create their run. I didn't want this to happen to my fridge if the bullets hit the tiles or under the fridge, so I bought an $11 oil-change pan from WalMart and taped it to the playroom wall. The palette is the perfect size for this set (see image). If you have children under the age of 5, you should know that the white part in the middle (where the ball rolls) is made of foam. If your child wants, it can be torn.
