Review on Columbia Mens Lhotse Interchange Jacket Outdoor Recreation by Carlos Alston

First of all I still have my Whirlibird from the late 80's and if it still fit I wouldn't be looking for another winter jacket but oh dear how the mighty have fallen. I've tried many jackets/coats since I outgrew this one and expected so much more from this product. The first problem was the fit. The middle one was too small and the big one was too big. I'm 5'10", 190 pounds, athletic build, I don't think I have a fitness problem but I don't blame Columbia for that. What I blame them for is the way this product fits together. The biggest issue was the lack of an elasticated wrist cuff on the inner jacket. Due to the lack of a cuff, the disco ball lining can go through the bottom with your hands when putting it on. Completely unacceptable. As stated in other reviews I'm not a fan of the zipper although I'm returning the product it's small, not durable and nowhere near the quality of my original Whirlibird.
