Revised Commentary. CAFELE immediately replied to my first post (below) and offered me a set of test cables for my iPhone and iPad. I received them yesterday (June 3rd) and they work. Thanks to their prompt customer service and the fact that they answered all my emails immediately, I upgraded my rating to 5 stars. Many thanks to CAFELE Direct and in particular to Lily for your quick replies to my emails and your quick response to my problem. I liked the convenience of just bringing the cord to the phone while the magnetic feature connected them automatically. It worked. ok but a few days ago my ipad suddenly said "device not recognized" and i noticed that it won't charge my ipad anymore. Then it stopped working with my iPhone. It's too late to go back, so I'm just eating spent $$. Nothing like the original charging/data cable. But I really liked the magnet function. Too bad it's useless now.
