I like this spoon holder. For some reason I thought it would be a lot heavier than the porcelain or ceramic ones, but it's light. I didn't like it at first, but I got over it and I'm happy with my thing. I also thought the design would look more drawn, but it looks more like a digital copy. All in all it's not what I had in mind, but when I see it in my range I'm happy with its looks and functionality. I put a hot stainless steel skimmer on it while it was hot to see if it would hold up to the heat and it did; Neither the spoon rest nor the design were affected. A good product.
