Personally I don't like the LED indicator on the charger

It does the job but I'm a little worried about the heat. I understand that the LED lights up when you plug it in, but it's always connected. Personally, I would prefer not to use it, as LEDs can get very hot. We would know the current flowing through the device when the computer is on. It just seems unnecessary.
