Review on XKMT Saddlebag Support 2009 2013 Harley Davidson by Michael Maes

Needed to replace the pannier protectors that were present when the bike was purchased. They were easy to install. However, the pockets are set at a higher angle than the stock pockets. The front bolt hole is slotted and I pushed them all the way in but they are still too angled. I ended up removing them and buying saddlebag emergency bar removal brackets and used standard bars with distances. This kept the pockets at the same angle. They seem stingy compared to the OEMs I thought would be at this price point, so it's no shock. I will send these back. They would be ok if the corner wasn't so big which made the pockets sit oddly. Some people might agree, but I wasn't. I wanted the same factory angle that I had with the case guards installed. I didn't get it with this product. I usually add pictures to my reviews, but they disappointed me so much that I immediately removed them and ordered their removal. Like I said if you're not very picky they can work for you, for me they wouldn't cut it.
