Little can be said about disposable medical items. Each pack contains two sterile 6 inch cotton swabs. For my purposes I use one for control and the other for testing. They serve my purpose, are reasonably priced and I don't expect to run out any time soon. However, as with any of these products, be aware that once exposed to liquid/moisture or opened, it is no longer sterile. Open it before intended use and be careful what it touches afterwards. A good method of ensuring sterility is to open the wrapper at the end of the swab, not the end of the swab, and you can pull it out with a dirty tip.
