In February 2020 I thought I would be in a wheelchair. After several misdiagnoses, the MRI revealed my problem and there was no doubt that I had to lose a lot of weight due to the high risk of side effects if surgery was required. I signed up for a weight loss program, but the program's pedometer on my phone app counted every movement of my phone, even when I was sitting in a chair. I was looking for a simple and easy to use pedometer and I found it in the 3D FitBud. As soon as I was accepted into the pain relief program, my workouts started in earnest, and eventually, after COVID restrictions were lifted in the physical therapy pool, I signed up for aqua aerobics. Wearing my 3D FitBud was second nature and I forgot I was wearing it when I had my first water therapy session. I found out the hard way that the 3D FitBud is NOT waterproof, especially as it ages. We tried the old rice bag trick but it was still dead - my stupid mistake. The product has a guarantee but I doubt it will cover breast defects. But I called support. The tour guide could not have been nicer. I told him what had happened and he started telling me about the rice bag trick. I told him we had already tried. He said that since we had already tried resuscitating the ii and it still didn't work, they would kindly send me a new one. I was shocked! Before a water accident, my husband, an avid traveler, asked for a 3D FitBud for Father's Day (from a fur baby). Since then he has taken over a million steps! My step estimate varies and is a long way from his, but it's always accurate. I even clip it to my pants when I use the elliptical trainer. Not bad for a man who thought he was in a wheelchair! I don't use the mobile app, so I won't comment on this feature. I highly recommend the product!
