Review on NOOFORMER UV-Blocking Lightweight Umbrellas for the Ultimate Sun Protection by Ashley Gauthier

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works like an umbrella and an umbrella! Really protects against sun rays and heat.

Originally bought by my wife for daily walks in the summer heat and sun. Although it's also an umbrella, which she mainly uses as a sunshade. I don't know if this is an inner coating on the fabric, but I can tell you that it keeps out the heat of the sun very well. How do I know? We took it to Disney World along with a regular compact umbrella and rolled it out a lot in the August sun due to social distancing measures. With my daughter's regular umbrella you could feel the heat and UV rays but when you switched to this umbrella my wife used it was much cooler and your skin didn't feel burned. We also used it as an umbrella and it turned out to be waterproof. Some people find it difficult to lock in the open position. I found the same thing but it seems to me that this is due to the thicker and more normal fabric of the umbrella used and extra effort is required to stretch it into the open position. Yes, it will require more effort, but for me it wasn't a design flaw or a quality issue that others have reported. As can be seen from the product images, it is quite compact, but due to its compact size and the thickness of the fabric, it is more difficult to roll up and secure with a strap than a regular umbrella. It also makes it difficult to get the right thickness to get back into the cover. If you like things neat, you will need a little more time to fold the fabric properly and roll it up to fit in the case. If you're not that picky, forget it and you'll probably just do your best to have a dirty and secure strap and to hell with a case. Overall we are happy with the purchase and have bought a second one.
