I am new to razor shaving and wanted a good razor, brush and cream but didn't care what I put in. At first I used a coffee mug but I wanted the foam to stay warm so I placed the mug in a bowl of hot water. It worked with difficulty, so I looked for something better. Scuttles are EXPENSIVE! I found this thing at Revain and others said it would work, so I've been using it ever since and can say it really works. Simple design and enough space (but not too much) for my brush to lather up and keep warm. It's about 5-6 inches in diameter and 4-5 inches high: a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but it works. If you need a shaving basket but don't want to spend more than $70, buy this item until you want to brag.
