I'm not an audiophile to be honest, but I've had enough low to high end audio products to know what sounds good and what doesn't. That being said, all of those reviews about how amazing these headphones sound must be fake because they don't sound very good. They're loud enough to be heard over pool party noise, but they're very tinny. I have a bluetooth speaker in a mini life jacket that sounds way better. They even paired with my old tablet fairly easily and the battery life was as advertised. I gave it a higher rating because the flare effect is really cool. I plan on keeping them for that very effect and as a backup speaker in case the next pool party is much later, but plan on getting other outdoor Bluetooth speakers for the sound quality.
