Weak if not glued. Pads need replacing
No matter how I followed the instructions it was too stunning. I glued the pieces together so they don't sway (he's finishing touches and knows how to do it right). The legs originally had plastic pads but one broke and scratched the floor in our new house. We have replaced the pads with felt pads. And one day I decided to stand on a stool and it made a bang, so I don't dare to do it anymore. And I'm only 138 pounds. So I can't say the stools are perfect, but if you don't trust the company and show no care, they're ok and save money.
