I didn't know what this lamp would be when I ordered it but decided to give it a try. Pleasantly surprised at how much I like it! It's very attractive and the dimmer works great. I have it in my living room on a console table near the door and draws attention with soft, diffused light. Husband loves it too! (Always a bonus.) It arrived well packaged and everything was fine. I am considering getting another one soon! Thanks for a good product! :) Update August 2019 - I recently ordered another one because I like the first one. However, this time it wasn't packaged properly and the base holding the bulb was broken. Also, the hole in the salt wasn't high enough for a socketed lightbulb. If that were the case I might still use it because the broken base wouldn't affect function or be noticeable. Sent it back for a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement was even worse broken. The hole in the salt was quite high but the lamp base was broken higher up where the electrical connection was exposed so it would be dangerous to use even if it worked which I didn't try due to the severity of the break. Obviously something went wrong with their packaging procedures! So disappointed. Also, Revain was quick to send out a replacement but now that the replacement has been returned and received by Revain they are not refunding. It says the refund is $0.00!
