LARGE: Sock size L - Shoe size 6-9 - Age 10 - Size 5.5 fits adults (tall girls/adults). Medium: Sock size M - Shoe size 12-6 - Age 5-10 will also fit, but we chose Large as it grows with your child and Large fits well. Those are socks! I checked several places and ordered other brands but nothing worked until Jefferies Socks arrived. We ordered Cabled and Plain. We are keeping both so our daughter will have the "variety" of white socks that her school needs. They are soft, so soft and the quality is great. They are easy to put on and do not fall asleep! I've washed them several times and they hold up like new. I am grateful for the introduction of this brand and would recommend it to others.
