After reading some reviews I would like to start by saying that this is not a miracle pill. However, it is a good start for beard grooming and keeps the follicles hydrated and healthy. Before using it, the winter months were not good for my beard and my chin was often itchy; Over time this went away and many of my whiskers became less "wiry" and more comfortable to the touch. The comb is also a definite plus; It looks really cool and looks classy in the bathroom compared to a plastic comb. I will say that a finer toothed comb may still be needed when grooming your hair, but the large wooden teeth help push the oil deeper into your beard rather than pulling out the oil and drying your beard (comb along fine teeth).
