This turned out to be too long to fit in the top of the console as shown in the photo so we used the cable provided to equalize it through the top hole. This makes it awkward to reach around and under to open the console bay. The latch that adjusts the size is difficult to use, so the first few times we spilled when the adjustment came loose. Once we got to the safety lock slot, we had no more crashes. On the plus side, it's extremely adjustable, allowing even my tall, narrow water bottles to stay in place. I recommend that the kit come with instructions on how to adjust and secure the retractable latches. Also, for those with smaller consoles like mine, I wouldn't mind having a cup holder that fits in the lip of the console. A little velcro can also help.
