My kid loved a pair of orange and black Hobibear sneakers for school. They looked and felt solid and were initially comfortable. A month after wearing these shoes to school, the inner lining near the heels of both shoes is worn and the blue sponge material under the lining is torn. We can even see the sole of the boot sticking out of the right boot. Shoes are no longer comfortable. Although it still looks ok from the outside. Over the course of a month and a half I washed the shoes several times when they got very dirty or dirty and these shoes were used quite a bit, mainly for school. My child no longer wears Hobibear shoes as I bought a branded pair that we know will last through the school year (or until they grow up!). We are very disappointed that these Hobibear shoes didn't last longer and that's good money down the drain.
