This is a really good case in terms of protection. I dropped my tablet undamaged. It's a little bulky, which prevents me from using the tablet in a car mount to use it for GPS. It can be difficult to discern what may be good for a child but not so good for an adult. It has a detachable front cover that can be used as a stand or pulled out to the back when the tablet is in use. I've never used it as a stand. All in all a good cover and I would buy again.
