Terrible design - the rubber pad just snaps in place and often comes loose when I use the brush. It hurt to put it back on, especially when the soap leaked around it. To dispense soap you have to physically push down on the "wand" in the center of the soap tank, which only works in some cases as the actual dispensing valve gets clogged very easily with dried dish soap. In short, it's only useful as a brush. If you want a truly reliable dispenser brush, buy the OXO Good Grips Soap Dispenser Brush. The top is firmly screwed on and air pressure is used to force the soap through the valve rather than a mechanical pusher. All around the best product!
