Review on 🎎 Stunning Kyoto Arabesque Green Design: Japanese Wrapping Cloth 'FUROSHIKI' by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty but expensive for its size

A few pieces of information that weren't on the list but are obvious when you investigate the subject yourself. This furoshiki is made in Japan by Musubi, an old and respected manufacturer from Kyoto. The label says 100% cotton, so it is. Size 19 x 19 inches I would like to know before ordering. Furoshiki are simple items, so there's not much to evaluate. This is a beautiful classic Kyo-Karakusa pattern dyed into fabric with clean, well-sewn edges. However, these are "small" furoshiki and the price for these sizes is usually $7-10 based on other purchases I made around the same time that were also made in Japan and even more elaborately decorated.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
