Review on 💙 Floxite Elegant Compact in Cobalt Blue: Crystal Medallion, 10x Magnification, Glass Mirror - Plus Plain Mirror by Shakim Yates

I know from years of experience that Floxite has always produced a reliable product. I've owned many Floxite mirrors in a variety of models over the years and as I currently prefer the 15x illuminated slip-on mirror I knew I couldn't go wrong if I was looking for a 10x magnification for my wallet. it will be a high quality, distortion-free mirror. (And who can beat that price? $6.99 for Prime?!? I almost fell out of my chair!) Anyway, when I got my mirror it was just perfect! I liked its cobalt color, every little rhinestone in its place. It was perfect. My problem was, try after try, I just couldn't open this stupid thing! I pushed, then pushed where the arrow was, and then I thought maybe the arrow was telling me to push the *opposite* side! Whatever I did, it didn't work. Bottom line, I was confident that I had received a defective mirror and would have to send back my beautiful little blue mirror. I just KNEW that there must be some kind of learning when you open the can. It can't be that hard! So the next day I had a rep and the next day again. I re-read the Floxite ad and found nothing on how to open the CD. I've read all the Revain questions and then the reviews and found nothing but many mentions of 'hard to open'. Well it's hard to open, if you don't really know how to do it then it's a cinch (even for people with arthritis)! *** The answer is NO PRESS AT ALL and NO PRESS! While holding the compact and looking at the side with the arrow (which maybe should be pointing in a different direction?!), gently LIFT the part you may have been pressing on and voila! I wrote this in hopes that it might help some of you who, like me, were struggling with a nice little blue mirror and couldn't use it because, nice as it was, it didn't work! Now go and make good use of it! 😊
