Review on YnM Flannel Weighted Relaxing Included by Brian Smith

This weighted blanket is used by my eight year old granddaughter when she visits her. I keep it on the double bed in our guest room where it fits perfectly. It is laid with the plaid flannel side out: very soft, plump and inviting. From the first night I noticed that my granddaughter, who often has restless sleeps, sleeps like a log under this blanket and I understand why: the blanket is like a big hug for a baby that lasts all night. I myself use a blanket to sleep. It's large enough for most adults to use comfortably and is perfect for a child. One side of this blanket is made from a "bumpy" pink fabric that resembles chenille but is softer. The other is a flannel blanket. I was expecting the plaid to be predominantly pink to match the wrong side as in the quilt pictured, but this is a muted rusty plaid that doesn't go with the pink. This is my only negative comment on this product and I think it's worth mentioning. The plaid is well sewn and aligned, small glass beads and cotton wool are well distributed and fixed in the "pockets" with stitches. . The pink side is framed with a checkered top as a binding. If you've never used a weighted blanket before, you're in for a pleasant surprise. The comforter feels luxuriously heavy when you lie underneath it, but you don't feel stuffy or too warm.
