We have ordered 4 of these stools. I was hesitant to order these based on some of the reviews. We have received 2 so far and I have assembled 2 and they are great. They are a bit tricky to assemble as you have to align, coordinate and screw the two crossbars together. But if you take your time and fit both sets of screws before the turn, you'll be fine. I will say that there is a mistake in the direction. You installed the lock washer and washer in reverse order. Both fit over the bolts that hold the components together, however the lock washer must first be placed over the bolt, then the washer, then fitted and screwed into the built in nut in the component. In their instructions it is the other way around and the locking washer is improperly attached to the tree. Otherwise we are happy with it!
