Review on Intel Core i7-8700K: Unleash the Power of 6 Cores, Turbo Boost up to 4.7GHz – Perfect for LGA1151 300 Series Desktops! by Wiktor elazny ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

In general, the purchase is satisfied. There is still a moment with support for additional dividers for the memory frequency - I can’t really start DDR4-3200. In 2133 mode it works fine, as you enter the mode from 2400 to 3200, the machine starts resetting the video card settings to 800x600 when the PC boots, and only after 5 seconds. restores everything. I hope it's temporary, and with subsequent bios ates Asus will fix everything.

Pros
  • Coffee Lake - 14++ nm, 6 cores, 12 threads. Really a technical shift, not the usual 5% performance increase. I took a frequency of 5 GHz without question, but I don’t need more. On a Deepcool Captain 120 EX water bottle and a mini itx Tristellar SW case, depending on the selected mode of operation of the PC cooling system (silent, standart, turdbo, full speed) in idle 35-50 C, under load above 67 was not seen in any of the operating modes cooling systems.
Cons
  • Due to competition with AMD and an earlier (almost a whole quarter) release, intel did not manage to release enough processors, which speculators did not fail to take advantage of. I did not have time to order for 27, an hour later in another store it was already 30, on the trail. the day the price tags were already 32, 35, 39, then when the price tag reached 41, I found it for 35,600 thousand. the old PC on 3770 has already left me.
