As you would expect, it protrudes about 2 1/2 inches from the jean pocket which could make it a better target for pickpockets. I went for it anyway as I have to carry a lot of cards around and the regular double or triple folds create a large bulge which aggravates the hip injury. The cuts are a little tight. Don't count on more than 1 plastic card in each slot. in a good condition.
